The 67 FPS was showing on the main Simulator window both in NVIDIA HUB and MSI afterburner. If I open up the VFR map in the top menu bar and than i pop it out from the screen as a separated window (in my case i dragged it to my second monitor), the FPS jumped to 67FPS on average.īoth in the air and on the ground where it was around 40-43FPS without the VFR mad as a separated window, The 40-43 FPS pretty much remained stable throughout my short 5nm radius flight i did, which is fine. ![]() I loaded my plane on some airport in Papua and the FPS showed around 43FPS. this was the nail in the coffin for me to conclude this. It felt more like 15 FPS based on the slowness and lags (trust me I know what 20+ FPS feels compared to 15FPS, had this my entire time in FSX/P3D, I am an expert).Ģ. i flown into downtown New York, dodging between the buildings on my DA40 in order to get the most FPS impact i could and even though my FPS showed being 32FPS at most times (some times it dropped to 23-26FPS), Here are the details of the use cases i ran and why I have reached to this conclusion.ġ. ![]() ![]() When using the developer mode FPS counter, it seemed to be more accurate and make more seance. ![]() That the FPS shown is not the real FPS and misleading numbers (at least in my case) when using external FPS counter tools.
